CHESTERTOWN — Chestertown Farmers Table will celebrate its formal grand opening this Saturday, May 11. The public is invited to celebrate the occasion and to experience the farm fresh experience. The celebration will start at 8 a.m. and last throughout the day. The main festivities and ribbon cutting will take place between 3 and 7 p.m, before closing at 8 p.m.

“We have been working a soft opening since January,” said owners David and Lisa Ruth. “We feel like we owe the community a formal Grand Opening to announce who we are and what we do.”

The Grand Opening includes menu specials, samples of menu items and dessert items, live music from local musician/show host Joe Dalto of The Joe Show, wine tasting from Crow Vineyards and door prizes with a chance to win restaurant gift certificates.

“We are excited to support the community that supports us by using locally sourced and farm fresh ingredients,” said Lisa Ruth. “We love this community and have long term plans here!”

Chestertown Farmers Table is Located at 11 Washington Square, the space formally known as Beverly’s Restaurant, next to Redners in the Washington Square Shopping Plaza.

Chestertown Farmers Tables is open seven days a week, Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
